SubBeam: live translated subtitles for anything playing in your browser

SubBeam listens to a browser tab, your screen or your microphone and shows real-time subtitles, translated into the language you choose. Use it for live streams, YouTube and Twitch videos, video calls, lectures and in-person conversations.

How it works

  1. Pick your audio: the browser tab playing your video or call, or a microphone.
  2. Choose a language. The spoken language is detected automatically, and 60 languages are supported, including English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Hindi, Arabic and Portuguese.
  3. Press Start. Subtitles appear within a second or two, as translation only, original only, or both together.

Pricing

The first 60 seconds are free with no sign-up. After that, buy time as you need it: 5 hours for $5, 20 hours for $15, or 60 hours for $40. Time is used only while subtitles run and never expires.

Tab audio works in Chrome and Edge on a computer. Audio is not stored. Terms, privacy and refunds.
